COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (August 5, 2004) - Group One Broadcasting, Inc and the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), will bring PBR action to radio stations across the United States. Beginning in September of 2004, Group One Broadcasting will air PBR programming on over 125 radio stations nationwide.

The PBR programming line-up will include PBR Primetime, a weekly hour long talk show previewing the upcoming Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) events and covering highlights from the previous week; PBR Now, a 10 minute weekly show which will have highlight updates and segments focusing on human interest stories; and PBR Live, which will broadcast play-by-play action of each BFTS event. The first PBR Live event to be featured by Group One Broadcasting will be the 2004 Built Ford Tough World Finals live from Las Vegas on October 22nd through the 31st.

Randy Bernard, CEO of PBR stated, "We are thrilled to be able to complete our media presence with radio, and to give our fans one more opportunity to follow the PBR. It is a great tool to solidify the type of widespread exposure that we are seeking," explained Bernard. Gary Nice, President and CEO of Group One Broadcasting stated, "We are excited to be able to launch the PBR on radio. I believe the PBR will take radio by storm just like the NASCAR radio broadcasts did several years ago."

Internationally acclaimed radio broadcasters Wayne Wise, PBR's own Charlie Throckmorton and Flint Rasmussen and Mike Bonds will share in the broadcast duties. Wise and Bonds have accumulated numerous awards for live events broadcast on the radio, while Throckmorton and Rasmussen are PBR household names. Wise said, "The PBR is without a doubt the hottest cowboy sport going, and to be able to broadcast these events on the radio and to work with this caliber of an organization is awesome. And, I'm sure the fans, radio stations, and advertisers will clamber to be a part of it."
